That happened to me with this Nina George gem. It was just as great the second time. A beautiful, peaceful story of Marianne, a German housewife who we first encounter as she tries to drown herself in the Seine. After being unwillingly rescued, she has to figure out what to do next.
Following the image on a small, painted tile, she ends up in a small coastal Breton town. The people she meets and the things she has the freedom to do bring on vast changes in her life.
