I walk every morning, and when I do I like to listen to Podcasts. A lot of them are book related, but some of them are more general of related to other subjects, like golf or basketball. But I frequently get book recommendations from all of them. Here are some I have picked up over the last few weeks that I have added to my TBR.

Hello Beautiful

This one I heard about on the Big Boo Cast on my way to Target and then bought it while I was in there. This is said to be a homage to Little Women, so I also downloaded that on to my Kindle. I am going to finish that one and then move on to Hello Beautiful and see if they make a great pair. They have also mentioned The Unsinkable Gretta James and Romantic Comedy which have been added to my list.

Almost, Maine

This one came from the Strong Sense of Place episode about Maine. I feel like the universe is telling me that I need to go to Maine soon, so I am really looking forward to this one. There is nothing like a lobster roll looking over the ocean! In Almost, Maine the northern lights have a magical effect on a community that is almost not in Maine it is so far north.

Doomsday Book

This one comes straight from the aptly named What Should I Read Next Podcast. It is the first in a series about Professors from Oxford who time travel. It sounds very intriguing. There are four books in the series and I don’t think they have to be read in order, but I figured I might as well start at the first!
