Today’s return to #TBR Thursdays includes the books that have been on my Goodreads TBR the longest. For most of these, I had to go back and remind myself why I added them in the first place!
my to-read shelf:The Lemoncholy Life of Annie Aster
Annabelle and Elsbeth are connected through their backyards and a mailbox. What’s so strange about that? One lives in modern day San Francisco and the other lives in 1890s Kansas. The concept is intriguing because I can’t wait to find out what these two find in common!
The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter
I also love books where we get to see the other side of a more famous store. In this case, we see what happens with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’s children when the famous duo is no longer around.
The Improper Life of Bezellia Grove
It’s the 1960s in Nashville and Bezellia Grove is a privileged daughter of a prominent family. She has to decide between toeing the line and following her heart. This book also deals with the hot topic of race relations, so it may be the time to start!
