Get out your TBR lists (whatever form they may take.) It’s time to get ready for all of that reading by the pool and the ocean!
Happy Place
By: Emily Henry
Emily Henry once again bringing a brightly colored beach read to our bags. This one is set in Maine, the land of lobster rolls and stunning coast, and one of my favorite places. The only downside for me is I only have this one on my Kindle, I will miss out on the pink!
Esme Cahill Fails Spectacularly
By: Marie Bostwick
This one is a Hallmark Christmas movie of a beach read. Esme fails at her high power job in New York and moves home to revamp the family business. Sound familiar! Should bring the same vibes with Pina Coladas instead of Hot Chocolate.
The Secret Book of Flora Lea
By: Patti Callahan Henry
I picked this one up at my local bookstore- Foxtale at an event with the author. It was so fun to listen to her talk about the book and it made me really excited to dive in! I can’t wait to get to this one just staring at me from my physical TBR pile!

Please Return to the Lands of Luxury
I got to read an ARC of this one thanks to NetGalley. I listened to it on audio and that was a really great way to get immersed in the land of young Jane who lives in the land of trash and journeys to the lands of luxury. Great for upper elementary or middle school students, this quick read is an inspiring story and conquering fear and the bad things can happen. The setting is fun and the characters charming. This would be a great book to add to your child’s summer reading schedule.
